Ora Kafé North Siargao officially opens with Valentine’s Day crowd
SIARGAO ISLAND, Philippines, Feb 14, 2026 — Ora Kafé North Siargao officially opened on Friday with a series of Valentine’s Day events that drew hundreds from the island’s surf community, despite the absence of a formal public launch announcement.
The beachfront hi-fi café marked its first day of operations with a morning partner yoga session led by Spanish instructor Lucia, setting a reflective tone for the celebration along the shores of North Siargao.
By 9 a.m., the atmosphere shifted as local DJ Wendy delivered groove-driven beats for a “morning rave” that attracted an estimated 60 to 70 early-rising surfers and visitors. Guests gathered over espresso and house-made bagels as music played across the café’s newly opened surfer’s hangout hut.
The Valentine’s Day program concluded with a sunset session at 5 p.m., featuring DJ Wendy alongside DJ Kuya Kat. Organizers said around 200 partygoers attended the beachfront event, filling the deck and surrounding area as the sun set on what many described as one of the most vibrant Valentine’s gatherings in North Siargao this year.
Ora Kafé North Siargao is a beachfront coffee shop and small-batch roastery located beneath the Siargao Artist in Residence Gallery in Barangay Tangbo. The café combines specialty coffee, locally sourced beans, vinyl-curated audio and community-led events aimed at surfers, artists and digital nomads.
While the opening was held without prior public promotion, Friday’s turnout signaled strong local support and positioned the café as a new social and cultural hub in the island’s northern surf community.
